Since the tragic passing of co-founder, Spanto, Born X Raised has been finding new ways to honor the fashion icon, from the tributary “Spanto Lives” t-shirt, Born X Raised has now also begun a mid-season collaboration with Spanto’s hometown baseball team, the Los Angeles Dodgers.
This is not the first partnership seen between Born X Raised and the Dodgers. The two have worked together over the past several seasons; this capsule collection only further solidifies the connection that Born X Raised has formed with the MLB team.
The collection is set to include hoodies and crewneck sweatshirts, t-shirts and a New Era hat. The items all proudly display combined logos, allowing both brands to clearly appear on the chest and back of the shirts. Every item is centered in a palette of blue, brown, black and white, keeping the collection true to the Dodgers colors with a little twist.
The promotional campaign for the collection was photographed at Pico Sports Arena. Models sporting the collab collection were photographed along with Charros in an effort to relate the generational themes between Charreria and the LA Dodgers. The campaign also featured images of deceased Spanto sporting the capsule collection’s black hoodie while riding a horse at the arena.
The Born X Raised x LA Dodgers capsule collection will be released today, August 3rd, at 12:00 PM PST. It will go live on the Born X Raised official website.
