Inter Miami is wasting no time on their rise to popularity as they announce a collaboration collection with renowned Japanese street fashion brand, BAPE, releasing soon.
With Inter Miami having just become one of the most important teams in the league after signing superstar Lionel Messi, a collaboration with BAPE continues to expand their cultural relevance and potential influence. The collaboration was announced yesterday via the brands’ Instagram accounts.
The post kept it simple, with no teaser image of the apparel included, but instead an image of both brand logos with the classic BAPE Cloud Camo theme in Inter Miami pink. The caption was just as simplistic as the image attached, simply announcing “BAPE® x Inter Miami coming soon! #abathingape #bape #intermiamicf.”
The collection is set to include T-shirts, sweat shorts, pullover hoodies and caps. No images or hints as to what the apparel will look like have been dropped by the brands. We can assume by the announcement photo that Inter Miami’s pink will be featured along with some of BAPE’s camo.
The collection releases next Saturday, August 19th at 11 AM ET. It will be dropping exclusively in BAPE stores in China, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan and the US – of course, including BAPE’s Midtown Miami location, as well as the Inter Miami CF Team Store.
