To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Wu-Tang Clan’s debut album, ‘Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers),’ RZA has announced a series of shows at Gramercy Theater in New York City this November.
Rza took to Instagram yesterday to share the news with his fans and followers. He posted the promotional flyer for the shows while telling fans: “Come enter the 36 Chambers through a live orchestra experience @gramercytheater this November 7th, 8th, & 9th. Tickets on sale September 8th.”
Guests can expect the experience to be run by RZA himself. There has been no information released mentioning any other Wu-Tang Clan members involved in the shows, but maybe guests will be in for a pleasant surprise.
A press release about the shows reads: “With the group’s classic 1993 debut, ‘Enter the Wu- Tang (36 Chambers),’ RZA established their widely imitated core sound, consisting of stark, booming beats and chilling samples (heavily drawing from vintage soul records as well as kung fu movies), setting the backdrop for the crew’s gritty, violent narratives.”
Pre-sale tickets go live today, September 7th, while general sale tickets go live tomorrow, September 8th. Don’t miss out on the show of a lifetime celebrating the iconic Wu-Tang Clan’s 30th anniversary.
