Insomniac has filled in the 12 days between EDC Dusk and EDC Dawn with a free parade, a rave art show, a vinyl-stocked concept store and a summit named after the old underground map point. Passes are back on sale now.

For its entire run in the desert, EDC Las Vegas has been one long weekend. In 2027, Insomniac is stretching it across almost two weeks and most of Las Vegas.
The festival returns to the Las Vegas Motor Speedway split into two consecutive weekends for the first time: EDC Dusk on May 14 to 16 and EDC Dawn on May 21 to 23, with the full Dusk Till Dawn Experience running May 13 to 24. When founder Pasquale Rotella first floated the change in May, the pitch was simple: fewer people per weekend, more room on the dancefloor, and less congestion on the roads, in the skies and at the hotels. Passes went back on sale October 8 for either weekend or both, and headliners can lock in any ticket type with a $10 deposit on the layaway plan.
The bigger news is what fills the week in between. The newly revealed 12 Days of EDC programming reads less like a festival schedule and more like a takeover. The World Party Parade, which debuted on the Strip this past May, comes back as a free, all-ages dance music parade. Pop-up parties will land in warehouses, clubs, art galleries and city landmarks, with opening and closing parties bookending each weekend.
The home base is Hotel EDC, which takes over Virgin Hotels Las Vegas with pool parties, after-parties, wellness and glam services. The first Insomniac Concept Store will carry limited-edition pieces made for the 12 days, artist meet-and-greets and a vinyl shop stocked with new and oldskool electronic records. Beyond the Rave, a free art show open all 12 days, will hang photography, graffiti, paintings, sculpture and rave flyers from artists around the world and inside the scene.

And the inaugural Map Point Summit borrows its name from the underground rave tradition of map points that led you to the party, reimagined as a gathering for people trying to find their way into this culture and through the industry around it.
Camp EDC also stretches out. For the first time, campers can stay all 12 days, with sunset-to-sunrise Opening Parties at The Mesa, Monday Morning After-Parties, and a retro arcade, live painting and all-night parties in between.
“A place to dance, connect, discover, create, learn, meet new people, see old friends, and hopefully make some memories you weren’t expecting,” Rotella said of the plan.

Lineups haven’t dropped yet, so for now the question is a different one: one weekend, the other, or all twelve days? Choose wisely, and bring comfortable shoes.
