U4IA and Gritty Garms are joining forces to present a solo exhibition from prolific contemporary artist Ethan Frank, opening next Thursday, July 23, from 4–7pm at Gritty Garms in Mermaid Beach, Gold Coast Australia.
The exhibition will showcase a new collection of original artworks alongside exclusive merchandise, stickers and limited-edition zines. Frank’s creative practice is driven by curiosity, with inspiration coming from the people he meets, the places he travels and the music that surrounds him. After years of dedicated making, he has developed a distinctive visual language built around expressive characters, bold compositions and an instantly recognisable style.
The opening night offers a chance to experience the work firsthand, meet people from the local creative community and support independent art on the Gold Coast. The exhibition will remain on display at Gritty Garms for the following two months, giving anyone who misses the opening another chance to check it out.
