For the first time ever, EDC Las Vegas and its around-the-clock Hotel EDC takeover expand to two full weekends in 2027, and Vibee packages are one of the only ways in.
For the better part of a decade, Hotel EDC has been the worst-kept secret in Las Vegas, the place where the festival doesn’t actually end when the sun comes up over the Speedway. It just changes into a swimsuit and moves poolside. Now Insomniac and Vibee are betting that one weekend of that was never enough.
The two companies confirmed this week that in 2027, both EDC Las Vegas and its around-the-clock hotel counterpart will span two full weekends for the first time in the festival’s history. The new format, dubbed EDC Dusk Till Dawn, splits the run into EDC Dusk (May 14–17) and EDC Dawn (May 21–24), with a full Dusk Till Dawn experience (May 14–24) for the truly committed who’d rather not go home in between.
If you’ve ever tried to actually sleep during EDC week, you know why this matters. The festival long ago outgrew its own footprint; the after-hours culture around it. Hotel EDC formalized that a few years back by taking over Virgin Hotels Las Vegas and turning it into a Headliner headquarters. In 2027, that takeover doubles in length.
Here’s the part that’ll make procrastinators wince: both EDC Dawn and the full Dusk & Dawn festival passes are already sold out. For a lot of fans, a Vibee package is now one of the only remaining ways to get a wristband for that second weekend at all.
Pairing Vobee with Insomniac, still steered by founder Pasquale Rotella, is less a partnership than a natural conclusion: the company that builds the party and the company that books the room, finally operating on the same calendar.
The 2027 presale opens Wednesday, July 8 at 10 a.m. PT for returning guests and noon PT for everyone else. Whether two weekends of EDC reads as a dream or a stress test probably depends on your stamina. But for once, the choice is actually yours to make.
