Capcom Pulls Up to Tokyo Game Show 2025 With a Heavy Hitter Lineup

Gamescom’s a wrap. But the train doesn’t stop—Tokyo Game Show is next, lighting up Makuhari Messe from September 25–28. And just before the doors open, Capcom’s pulling up with a special online event on September 24 (7 a.m. PT / 10 a.m. ET / 11 p.m. JST) to set the stage.

Capcom’s been on a wild ride. Not too long ago, things looked shaky—now they’ve clawed their way back into form with Resident Evil remakes, a monster (literally) run for Monster Hunter, and an energy that feels like their second prime.

Here’s what they’re bringing to Tokyo Game Show 2025:

  • Monster Hunter Outlanders

  • Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection

  • Monster Hunter Wilds

  • Onimusha: Way of the Sword

  • PRAGMATA

  • Resident Evil Requiem

  • Resident Evil: Survival Unit

  • Street Fighter 6

Resident Evil Requiem

The one everyone’s watching. Requiem looks like Capcom finally planting a flag on what this series is supposed to be now—horror, scale, and legacy rolled together. If you dipped out after Resident Evil 4, this might be the one to pull you back in.

Monster Hunter Energy

Three different Monster Hunter titles on deck—proof Capcom knows exactly where its bread’s buttered. From brand-new spins to the already-buzzing Wilds, the franchise is everywhere.

The Wildcards

  • Onimusha is swinging back with Way of the Sword—Capcom hasn’t forgotten its samurai roots.

  • PRAGMATA resurfaces after its long silence—still mysterious, still ambitious.

  • Street Fighter 6 stays in rotation, cementing its place as the scene’s competitive heartbeat.

Dreams & Pleas

Of course, fans are already chanting for ghosts from the past. A Viewtiful Joe return would break brains. A new Mega Man Battle Network? That’d be miracle-level—but TGS is where you shoot your shot.

Capcom looks like it’s stepping into this show with full swagger. From online streams to on-the-floor madness, it’s not just a comeback anymore—it’s momentum.
