Justin Timberlake, JC Chasez, Lance Bass, Chris Kirkpatrick and Joey Fatone have put their minds and musical talent together one more time to create a new single for the upcoming movie, “Trolls Band Together.” This song will mark the first project that *NSYNC has released since “Girlfriend” was released as a single from their final studio album in 2002.
Each of the members are also “expected to have surprise roles” in the musical comedy hitting theaters this November. No representatives of *NSYNC or Universal Studios/DreamWorks Animation have confirmed or commented on the band’s involvement.
However, a trailer for the “Trolls Band Together” movie has been released and it seems to tease the possible reunion. One of the Trolls in the trailer tells another Troll played by Justin Timberlake that they are “out of sync.” He says: “We’ve gone from boys to men, and now there’s only one direction for us to go: back to the streets.”
The trailer leaves little hints of the reunion, showing Timberlake’s character and referencing all the iconic boy bands, including *NSYNC, Boyz II Men and the Backstreet Boys. If the rumors of the reunion are true, fans will get another taste of *NSYNC on November 17th when “Trolls Band Together” arrives in theaters.
