Raised in Harlem and pushed by her incessantly free spirit, it was almost by accident that Brandee Brown became one of downtown New York’s most beloved “it” girls, effortlessly making her entrance onto the scene after post-high-school-boredom landed her there.

After working for the likes of Kenneth Capello and Ryan McGinley, initially assisting and learning the ropes of photography, she began appearing in front of the camera more and more, her signature bright-green eyes and radiant smile becoming a favorite for portraits and editorials alike.

Now one of the most popular faces of the DKNY FW 14 campaign, Brandee Brown lent us her creative talents to put together a video shoot inspired by one of those spontaneous, perfect New York City nights. Starring her and a few of her downtown natives, we followed the crew through the streets of SoHo, disposable cameras in hand, snapping shots of their early a.m. crawl home after an all-nighter.

RUN, RUN, RUN, THATS ALL WE DO…
I WONDER WHAT WOULD HAPPEN IF WE SLOWED DOWN…
I GUESS WE’LL FIND OUT SOON ENOUGH.
